Watts fires 73, Sample, Krieger named Most Improved
Declan Watts (73) shot the low round of the 2012 Tournament of Champions to win the 14-15 division at the Ridge at Eagle Crest on Sunday, August 12. Nathan Pajutee shoot a 75 from the black tees to capture the 16 and older boys event and Heidi Froelich (84) prevailed in the Girls varsity 15 and older division.
Our most important recognition, most improved players of the year, went to Victoria Sample and Mason Krieger.
Other winners Sunday were Olivia Loberg (88) Varsity 14 and under, Jack Loberg (75), 12-13 boys, Elisha Delgado (41) 12-17 Boys 9 holes, Kelsey Norby (51) Girls 9 holes, Clay Cranston (38) 9-11 Boys, Ellison Oden (43) 9-11 Boys Short Course, and Lily Chrisman (51) Girls Short Course. We congratulate the division winners and all the participants for an outstanding season
Scholarship Winners
The 2012 College Scholarship winners were Hailey Ostrom and Dylan Cramer. Each won a $1000 grant to the college or universiry of their choice. Ostrom will be attending Goerge Fox and Cramer plans on studing at Utah State. This award is available to any graduating senior COJGA member or former COJGA member. Application are due by August 1, 2013 for next year's grant.
COJGA Raffle Winners
The Cojga Fundraiser Raffle prizes were as follows: Overleaf Resort Golf Outting, Lynn McKinney; Golf at Chambers Bay, Jack Klar; and the $500 Old Mill District shopping spree, Lisa Duggan. For the first time ever all tickets were sold. Seth Chilcutt, Koal Robson and Cooper Roslund were the top sales people. Our thanks to Meredith Blackwell and Drew Roslund for heading up this essentail project.
