Since 1995, the Central Oregon Junior Golf Association (COJGA) has given players ages 6-18 the opportunity to compete in golf tournaments throughout the region. Our annual membership has grown to over 275 children and continues to make a positive impact on the youth of our community.
However, we can only continue to offer this worthwhile program with the help of contributions from local businesses and corporate sponsors like you. This year, we are offering the following two sponsorship options for your consideration:
Title Sponsorship ($3,000)
Your logo will be embroidered on the shirts worn by all of the COJGA players at every tournament.
- A banner recognizing you as a COJGA sponsor will be displayed every tournament throughout the season.
- The COJGA homepage will provide a link to your website and recognition of your contribution to our program.
<< Note: There will only be two Title Sponsorships offered annually. >>
Corporate Sponsorship ($1,000)
A banner recognizing you as a COJGA sponsor will be displayed every tournament throughout the season.
- The COJGA homepage will provide a link to your website and recognition of your contribution to our program.
Tournament of Champions Hole Sponsorship ($250)
A sign with your company name will be placed at one the the tee Boxes during the Tournament of Champions at The Meadows at Sunriver.
Your tax-deductible contribution will allow players throughout Central Oregon the opportunity to continue participating in a sport that focuses on honesty, integrity and sportsmanship - qualities that will truly last a lifetime. We ask that you consider becoming a COJGA sponsor today. With your help, we can make it happen. For more information, please contact us at (541) 598- GOLF(4653).
Sincerely,

Some Facts About COJGA
Junior golfers from the ages of 9-18 can play up to one tournament each week throughout the summer months. Participants from the ages of 6-8 can play up to five tournaments during the summer months. The 6-8 year olds, play shorter “pitch and putt” courses, while our older participants play on full size courses. These competitions are intended to foster growth for all junior golfers with regard to their self-confidence, respect for the game, themselves and others.
It is also our goal to maintain low tournament fees in order that cost does not impede participation. The golf courses where our participants play are donated for each COJGA tournament. Because of this generosity, we are able to keep our playing fees low. We charge our players $15 to play an event. This fee includes lunch which is prepared by the host golf club. We also have a limited number of scholarships for financial hardship. We want to offer this opportunity to each participant who wants to play golf.
We are only able to keep our playing fees low because of our outside sponsorship. It will cost the COJGA organization about $56,000 to operate in 2008. Aproximately $15,000 of the total expenditures is funded by donations. We are a volunteer organization, other than our Tournament Director, who receives a stipend for managing each of our tournaments. The COJGA Board of directors is comprised of 15 to 20 parents plus several PGA Professionals who donate their time and energy for the benefit of the participants.
Below are a few statistics to help you understand the impact that COJGA has made on Central Oregon golf during the past 13 years:
